To make your grid pick your center crystal and set your intention.  Place other crystals in a pleasing pattern around the "Focal" Center crystal.  Set your intention as you place each crystal.  Leave your crystal grid out for as long as you'd like.  Usually intuition will let you know when it is time to make a fresh grid.
